NGO Darpan Registration Process
Registration on the NGO Darpan portal is a mandatory requirement for NGOs and VOs seeking grants or assistance from central or state governments. To apply for government funding and qualify for FCRA registration, NGOs must register on the portal and obtain a Darpan certificate or unique ID.

Follow these steps for NGO Darpan registration:

  1. Go to the official NGO Darpan website.

  2. On the homepage, select the ‘Login/Register’ option.

Step 3: Click on the ‘Sign Up’ option.

Step 4: Provide the NGO/entity’s name, mobile number, and email address, then click on the ‘Submit’ button.

Step 5: Fill in the contact person’s name, mobile number, and email address. Enter the OTP received and click on ‘Submit’.

Step 6: Input the PAN details of the NGO/entity.

Step 7: Create a password and log in to the portal.

Step 8: Enter the NGO/entity details, including name, PAN, address, email, registration authority, registration number, validity, FCRA details, and click on ‘Save’.

Step 9: Provide member details such as name, date of birth, designation, mobile number, and Aadhaar number, then click ‘Save’.

Step 10: Add information about the source of funds, key contact details, and working area, then click ‘Save’. A confirmation message will appear once the account is 100% complete.

Step 11: Upon completing the profile, the NGO Darpan portal administrator will verify the submitted documents and send an email to the applicant to generate a unique ID.

Step 12: Log in to the portal and generate the unique ID after receiving the confirmation email.

Documents Required for NGO Darpan Registration

  • Registration Certificate: Proof of the NGO/entity’s registration.

  • PAN Card: PAN card of the NGO.

  • Executive Committee Details: PAN and Aadhaar cards of at least three executive committee members.
